Run family movie nights and content rotation

Shared, planned viewing uses less energy than many screens and builds morale.

How

  1. Pick one or two film nights a week, on sunny days when the battery is full.
  2. Rotate who chooses, and let children build a 'next up' list from the printed catalogue.
  3. Rotate content in themed weeks (for example nature, comedy, a country or a decade) so the library feels new.
  4. Add a short talk or game after the film, and keep screen-free evenings on other nights.
