Use the household PACE communications plan

The comms module holds one communications plan for the whole site: Primary, Alternate, Contingency and Emergency (PACE) in comms-2. This step makes sure the safety plans use it.

How

  1. Write or check your PACE plan in comms-2, and the paper contact list and channel card in comms-3.
  2. Satellite internet (safety-14) and a cellular booster (safety-15) are both data links, and a booster stops when the mast loses power. Count them as one level, not two.
  3. Use the PLB (safety-17) as the emergency level, and an official alert receiver (comms-5, comms-6) to hear warnings.
  4. Put the PACE card with the emergency plan (safety-22) and the grab bags (safety-23).
