Commission, label and document
A system nobody understands is a system nobody can fix. Record everything while it is fresh.
How
- Check every tap for flow and pressure at peak use, and check the pump against design flow and head.
- Confirm the UV alarm, float switches and overflow work.
- Label valves, filters (with micron rating), non-potable taps and the fire outlet.
- Draw an as-built diagram with pipe routes, depths and valve locations.
- Create a log with the well record, lab results, filter and lamp dates, and tank levels, for the living module's maintenance calendar.
