Stock masks and disinfectant and agree an outbreak routine

During an outbreak, supplies run short and contact with others becomes a risk. Stock up early and decide your rules in calm times.

How

  1. Stock face masks and disinfectant. Switzerland's national supply office advises 50 face masks per person at home.
  2. Add masks to each grab bag (safety-23).
  3. Agree household rules for an outbreak: who goes out for supplies, how deliveries are handled, and when a person moves to the sick room (medical-34).
  4. Follow your national public health authority for advice on the specific disease. Rules change as an outbreak develops.
