Medical
A step-by-step plan for keeping a household healthy when hospitals, ambulances and pharmacies may be out of reach for a long time. It covers a health assessment and needs profile, chronic conditions, training, kits, safe medicine storage on solar power, prevention, diarrhoea, bites, infectious disease, remote advice and a plan for when no help is coming.
Why it matters
On a remote estate an injury or a missed prescription can turn serious before help arrives. Most of the risk is reduced by preparation: trained people, the right kit in the right places, medicines stored correctly, and clear rules for when to call for advice or leave. Health needs also drive design loads for power, refrigeration, water and room layout, so they must be known early. This module never replaces your clinicians; it helps you work with them from a distance.
